Baccarat is one of the most popular casino games in Malaysia, and st996 brings that experience straight to your screen with unmatched quality. Our platform offers over 30 live baccarat tables staffed by professional dealers around the clock, 7 days a week — so you can play whenever you feel like it.
Unlike standard baccarat platforms that offer only a single table type, st996 provides a full range of variants to suit every kind of player. There's Speed Baccarat for those who prefer fast-paced action with results in just 27 seconds, Baccarat Squeeze for a more dramatic experience as the dealer slowly reveals each card, and Baccarat No Commission which eliminates the standard 5% fee on Banker wins.
One of the biggest advantages of playing baccarat at st996 is the flexible betting limits. You can start as low as RM 20 per round at a standard table, right up to RM 50,000 at our VIP Platinum tables. Whether you're a casual player in it for the fun or a serious player looking to maximise your winnings, st996 has a table that fits.
Our video streaming uses the latest HD technology so you can see every move the dealer makes with complete clarity. No lag, no interruptions — just a smooth, enjoyable gaming experience. You can also interact with the dealer and fellow players via the live chat function available at every table.
Baccarat rules are actually straightforward. Cards numbered 2 through 9 are worth their face value. An Ace is worth 1, while face cards (Jack, Queen, King) and 10s are worth zero. The values of both cards are added together, and only the last digit counts — for example, a 7 and an 8 total 15, but the hand value is 5.
A hand totalling 8 or 9 from the first two cards is known as a "Natural" and wins immediately without drawing additional cards. If no Natural is dealt, a third card may be drawn according to the predetermined rules. Your goal is to predict whether the Banker or the Player will finish with a total closest to 9.

Baccarat is not purely a game of chance. By understanding the game's statistics and applying the right approach, you can manage your bankroll more effectively and enjoy longer sessions on the st996 platform.
Statistically, Banker wins in approximately 50.68% of hands. Despite the 5% commission, a Banker bet still offers the best RTP at 98.9%. This is not a guarantee of winning, but over the long run it is the most mathematically sound choice.
While the Tie payout of 8:1 looks attractive, the actual probability of a Tie occurring is only around 9.5%. The RTP on a Tie bet is 85.6% — significantly lower than either Banker or Player. Treat the Tie as an occasional side bet, not a core strategy.
Before you start playing, decide how much MYR you're comfortable risking (your loss limit) and how much profit you're aiming for (your win limit). Once either limit is reached, stop playing. This discipline is the key to enjoying baccarat over the long term.
The road map or "bead plate" displays the results of previous rounds. Many experienced players use it to spot patterns such as Banker or Player streaks. While each round is independent, reading these patterns can help you place bets with greater confidence.
| Strategy | Risk | Suitable For |
|---|---|---|
| Always Banker | Low | Beginner |
| Follow the Streak | Moderate | All |
| Flat Betting | Low | Conservative |
| Paroli System | Moderate | Experienced |
| Martingale | High | Large Bankroll |
None of the strategies above guarantee a win. Baccarat is a game of chance and every round is independent of the last. Always play within your financial means and remember that the primary purpose is entertainment.

"I've played baccarat on plenty of platforms, but st996 is genuinely different. The HD stream never dropped once, even playing from Johor Bahru. The Platinum VIP table is on another level — the dealers are more patient and professional. Won RM 4,500 last night!"
"I love Speed Baccarat on st996. You can get through over 100 rounds in an hour. The mobile interface is super smooth, deposit with Touch 'n Go and you're straight into the game — couldn't be easier. Customer service also responds fast whenever I have questions about withdrawals."
"Baccarat No Commission at st996 is a real advantage for players who like to bet on Banker. No 5% cut means better value on every hand. I was sceptical at first, but after trying it I haven't looked back. Withdrew RM 2,800 in under 5 minutes!"
Baccarat at st996 is entertainment — not a way to generate a steady income. Set a daily betting limit before you start playing and stick to it. Do not try to chase losses with increasingly larger bets. Individuals under 21 years of age are prohibited from using this platform. If you feel that gambling is beginning to affect your daily life, use the self-exclusion feature in your account or contact our support team for assistance.
